The Systems Engineering Group is the technical lifeblood of the Sales and Field Operations organization. Our engineers design and implement the innovative communications solutions that make a difference in the moments that matter. As the solution architecture and technical consulting lead, the Systems Engineering Group has end-to-end design, technology consultancy, and implementation responsibility for all pre-sale and post-sale engagements nationwide. Job Description

The Systems Engineer will fulfill post-sale responsibilities and requirements that occur after the sale of the company’s product to the client.
Provides post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products. Systems Engineer – USA Remote
May be involved in implementing detailed customer installation requirements.
Ensures that client’s needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification.
May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
Responsible for the complete design of a company product or system from technical roadmap to architectural designs.
Defines appropriate platforms and system specifications.
Determines core server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements and networking protocols.
Develops technical, tactical and strategic plans, systems definition and feasibility determination.
Lead and define technical network architecture designs for ASTRO 25 mobile backhaul networks. Systems Engineer – USA Remote
Lead and define technical network architecture designs for adjacent technologies mobile backhaul networks.
Create and document detailed network drawings.
Continually evaluate third party vendor equipment used in our portfolio.
Work with third party vendors/contractors to ensure delivery of requirements set forth by the design.
Support the engineering community in best practices for network designs. Systems Engineer – USA Remote
Network topology assessments and troubleshooting.
Can be located in office or remote (Continental US).

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice’s “Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy” and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers. Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s).
