Proximity to our core office in Chicago is preferred but not required. In this role, you will help us achieve our mission as we grow by providing excellent customer service while gathering pertinent information &amp; reviewing accidents. You will act as the liaison for our company in daily communication with drivers, insurance companies, and insurance brokerages.&nbsp;</p>n<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p>n<ul>n<li>Receive, investigate, negotiate, and resolve all accidents in connection with our fleet operating in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Seattle, Dallas, and other US markets</li>n<li>Complete our intake protocol for all property damage and worker’s compensation claims</li>n<li>Investigate and evaluate losses to determine liability</li>n<li>Interview drivers and claimants to collect and provide statements for settling or filing any loss</li>n<li>Record and maintain documentation of incident status throughout the claims lifecycle</li>n<li>Guide and respond to customer inquiries to provide best-in-class service</li>n<li>Negotiate claim settlements in a fiscally responsible manner based on mechanical evidence, referencing industry standard practices for part pricing / labor times, balancing customer / repair facility expectations</li>n<li>Complete follow-ups with clients and insurance carriers to ensure timely closing of claim</li>n<li>Achieve targeted performance goals to support Sally's industry leading operation standards</li>n</ul>n<p><strong>What we look for</strong></p>n<ul>n<li>1-2 years of claims related experience</li>n<li>Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel</li>n<li>Excellent communication skills, written and verbal</li>n<li>Relentlessly patient; willingness to collaborate with customers</li>n<li>Strong motivation to provide a best-in-class customer experience</li>n<li>Experience working in tort and no-fault states</li>n<li>General knowledge of claims processes and procedures, including subrogation</li>n<li>Understanding of Self Insurance preferred</li>n<li>Knowledge of estimate writing using Mitchell Connect preferred</li>n<li>Claims adjusting experience preferred</li>n</ul>n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>n<ul>n<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">20 days PTO</span></li>n<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Medical, Dental, and Vision contribution plans</span></li>n<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Career growth opportunity</span></li>n</ul>n<p>#LI-Remote</p>n<p>Compensation range: $50,000-$70,000</p>”,”title”:”Claims Associate”,”datePosted”:”2024-02-06T01:06:32.000Z”,”occupationalCategory”:”Legal”,”validThrough”:”2024-12-31T01:06:32.000Z”,”baseSalary”:{“@type”:”MonetaryAmount”,”currency”:”USD”,”value”:{“@type”:”QuantitativeValue”,”minValue”:50000,”maxValue”:70000000,”unitText”:”YEAR”}},”employmentType”:”FULL_TIME”,”applicantLocationRequirements”:[{“@type”:”Country”,”name”:”US”}],”skills”:””}
