Remote job Remote Hotel Regional Director of Sales (RDOS) – Hilton & Marriott Experience Required

Job Description

The RDOS will remotely support 20 branded hotel owners, investors and managers across the US by advising these hotels to increase their property sales and market share.

As an RDOS, you will oversee 5 employees who support generating, acquiring and managing new accounts for partner hotels. You will also be responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing hotel portfolio across all verticals.

Responsibilities

⢠Regularly generate business opportunities for hotel partners by acquiring and growing new accounts
Collaborate and align with hotel owners and managers to achieve sales goals
Maintain
strong relationships with hotel partners through open communication, regular feedback and advice, and timely resolution of issues
Create, manage and review existing customer records in the revenue management system

⢠Maintain a current sales database with historical sales data, progress reports, upcoming events, and general customer information

Maintain customer accounts with a focus on overall sales opportunity, revenue potential, booking behavior, decision considerations, event logistics, and competitive pricing. Develop and execute business strategies for key accounts, working with partners as needed.

Achieve booking goals by driving the sales process including follow-up meetings, on-site visits and participating in customer events as needed

Submit regular reports on sales activities and performance regarding sales pipeline, leads and conversions, and customer communications.

Requirements

You should have extensive experience in on-site hotel sales and marketing with Marriott and/or Hilton, with expertise in their property management systems. You should also understand the brand’s sales standards, certifications, revenue management and the entire sales process.

You should also have the following skills and qualifications to prove your suitability for the position:

Absolute
discretion regarding confidential and sensitive information

3+ years of on-site sales management experience in hotels with a proven track record of success

Confident in consulting and working with hotel owners with the goal of building lasting relationships with customers

Proficient
in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Bachelor’s/BS degree preferred
