Job Description: About the Role and Team:

As a Catering Guest Experience Manager, you will deliver unforgettable catering experiences for our customers and manage Event Operations/Catering Cast Members with leadership skills and a creative, positive work environment. This position will be the liaison between the Sales & Service, Culinary and Parks and Resorts teams to ensure the integrity of our partners and events.

If selected for this role, you will report to the Catering Manager.

This is a full-time position. Your Tasks:

Plan the event from both a logistical and gastronomic perspective

Work
directly with catering, culinary and entertainment partners and all customers

Manage tournament staffing and catering during the event

Accountable for overall customer satisfaction during the event

Promote
a safe work environment and food safety culture

Demonstrate the technical knowledge and expertise required for the position (e.g. safety and service standards, regulatory requirements, processes and procedures)

Make yourself responsive to the needs of clients, Cast Members and colleagues from other work groups.

Guide and guide Cast Members through the operational performance of the event by providing real-time feedback.

Recognize
Team Members for outstanding performance, customer service and safety promotion behaviors

Establish short-term priorities and set clear and consistent directions and expectations for Cast Members.

Build
employee engagement through frequent communication, following up with Cast Members, mentoring, listening and providing feedback on development.

Work
across departments and organizations to achieve common goals and understand the impact of decisions on other functional areas

Identify and remove obstacles to ensure the success of the event

Perform
administrative tasks. Example:Example: Attend meetings, compile operational metrics, prepare required reports, read and respond to emails

Investigate and respond to performance, attendance, safety complaints and other operational issues

Communicate
event details with park and resort partners, convention services, clients and cast members

Required Qualifications and Skills:

5+ years or equivalent experience in the catering or convention industry in a resort environment

Understanding
of the convention business

Experience
coordinating event planning, communication, execution and evaluation

Creativity
to find new solutions and improve guest and customer experience

Ability
to empower and lead a team

Ability
to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to demonstrate leadership in stressful situations

Ability
to optimally resolve conflicts

Ability
to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Availability of a schedule that includes weekends, variable shifts and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage management

Event
planning and/or event services experience

Talent to build partnerships and collaborate with all team members within the organization

Knowledge
of Walt Disney World procedures
