TechTarget is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our global finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the new Accounting Manager will be responsible for quarterly filings of interim and year end financials statements and our shareholder letters, approving payroll submissions prepared by payroll supervisor, preparing payroll and benefit related general ledger reconciliations, workers compensation audits, pay forecast projections and other pay related reporting If you’re looking for a change and interested in taking that next step in your career, this is an excellent opportunity to join a team that likes to promote from within and provide opportunities to take on new challenges. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings using Active Disclosure software and supporting schedules prepared by the Finance team;
  • Effectively supervise payroll team, including review and approval of payroll submissions. Accounting Manager-SEC Reporting and Payroll
  • Review payroll journal entries and prepare quarterly payroll expense reconciliations. Accounting Manager-SEC Reporting and Payroll
  • Prepare accrued compensation and other reconciliations for US and foreign subsidiaries.
  • Manage and maintain all supporting schedules for quarterly SEC filings. Accounting Manager-SEC Reporting and Payroll
  • Assist in the preparation of financial information schedules in support of internal and external audits, maintain SOX documentation for SEC reporting and payroll key controls.
  • Complete proxy schedules related to salaries and pay.

  • Research accounting issues and prepare technical accounting memos on proper treatment under US GAAP, as needed. Accounting Manager-SEC Reporting and Payroll

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting,
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience (preferably with a publicly traded company),
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred,
  • Multi-currency accounting experience preferred,
