n Responsibilities:n n

• Provide legal counsel to Kontoor business units, including the digitalu002Fe-commerce team, information security, marketing, and technology teamsn
• Assist in the shaping and management of Kontoor’s Privacy Programn
• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulationsn
• Reviewing, analyzing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of agreementsn
• Communicate with business partners; sees and obtain advice of other counseln
• Exercise discretion in handling sensitive and confidential mattersn
• Maintain consumer-facing privacy policies, notices, and consents, and internal privacy policies, standards, processes, and proceduresn
• Review existing activities, policies, and procedures, and perform privacy impact assessments and privacy-by-design guidance to ensure compliance with the ever-changing landscape of privacy laws and regulationsn
• Collaborate with the Information Security team on cyber security policies and procedures, vendor assessments, as well as ongoing privacy and security training and awareness activitiesn
• Manage outside counsel, as needed, in an effective and efficient mannern
• Work in parallel with other members of the Legal team in multiple regions of the world to provide strategic direction, while aligning the legal activities with recognized best practicesn
• Stay current on relevant laws and regulations that affect the company’s operations, including data privacy laws and regulations in domestic and applicable international jurisdictionsn
• Assist with additional projects and perform additional duties, as requestedn n

  n Requirements:n n

  n
  • JD (Juris Doctor Degree)n
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state baru002Fjurisdictionn
  • 4+ years legal experience, with an emphasis on privacy, data protection, and information securityn
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to evaluate issues from both legal and business perspectives with a practical, business-oriented approach balancing both business and legal implications.n
  • Preferred experience:n
    n
    • Experience with cloud computing and software-based productsn
    • Experience with technology-focused commercial contracts (e.g., SAAS and License Agreements)n
    • Experience working in a global consumer goods businessn
    • Prior work with a global public companyn n n
