The Delivery Solutions Business Intelligence Analyst is a self-motivated, driven partner interested in gaining valuable experience in applied analytics along with a strong desire to grow while contributing to the success of DHL eCommerce. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly familiarize themselves with and contribute to our proprietary applications to aid in the delivery network redesign. The analyst is responsible for providing analytical, operational, and information systems support to all areas of the DHL eCommerce Domestic Transportation Delivery Network. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop/modify scripts in Jupyter Notebook to perform updates and additions to the ORBIT (Organized Business Intelligence for Transportation) and SPIN (SharePoint Integrated Network) applications in Python. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• Will start with supporting existing models like the Sort Code Optimization and RFP (Request for Proposals) Dashboard for regional carriers. Over time, expectation will be to build new models as business cases arise. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• Ensure programming in Jupyter is standardized across team using git and coding best practices (e.g., processes are broken into smaller blocks of code, when possible, headings and comments are used). Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to aid with process improvements to reporting using Power BI.
• Manage data pipelines (extraction, cleansing, validation, processing, and loading).
• Perform ad hoc and business case analysis for last mile delivery network involving postage and transportation costs. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• Train cross functional team members on use of SharePoint site as a frontend UI for data submissions.
• Conduct business case analysis to make optimal routing decisions for parcels. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Experience solving large-scale problems using Python and/or R; familiar with pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib packages. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• Adept at using SQL with a strong understanding of relational models (can demonstrate using Excel). Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• Familiarity with MS SharePoint and SharePoint Designer.
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate to various audiences, both internal and external. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically (i.e., quickest way to solve a problem but also mindful of how the solution can be adapted to solve other problems or fit into a larger process). Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Economics/Statistics, or other technical field from an accredited University. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst
• 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role using Python, SQL, or other languages.
• (Preferred) 2+ years of work experience in supply chain, ecommerce, and/or transportation logistics
• (Preferred) Experience with unsupervised learning algorithms (e.g., k-means clustering) and time series analysis such as exponential smoothing. Delivery Solution Business Intelligence Analyst

• Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.

Annual Salary of $58,125 to $93,000. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current
starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include but are not limited
to your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees
