I am looking to recruiter a DevOps Engineer with AWS & Azure Technical Screener for Apex Systems. This is a part-time/remote W2 opportunity. The rate is $75 an hour with coding experience required.

Technical Screeners work as internal part-time employees of Apex and conduct the screenings on their own time. They are responsible for screening out candidates on requirements before we submit candidates down to the client, making sure they are the right fit technically.

Some of our screeners do the screenings after-hours, some on lunch breaks, or when they have time in the middle of the day. We just ask that you are available to reply to recruiters throughout the day to set up screenings.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on both AWS and Azure.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines are efficient and effective.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud environments.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ensure security best practices are followed and compliance requirements are met.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) and/or Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
