Responsibilities of the Instructional Designer:

Create, implement, and assess effective educational materials for diverse learning styles
Work with SMEs to determine training requirements and instructional end goals of target audience
Apply established instructional design theories and techniques to create environment conducive to adult learning
Become a SME in Brainshark/Articulate

 

Requirements of the Instructional Designer:

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in instructional design
Excellent understanding of adult learning theories and approaches
Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and other relevant tools
Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills coupled with effective writing skills
