Full Job Description:-

Preparation of all international forms and components of the U.S. income tax return. Computation of U.S. international income inclusions, such as subpart F income, Sec. 956, and 245A dividends from foreign subsidiaries. Computation of global intangible low-taxed income inclusion under Section 951A and completion of the Forms 8992 and 8993. Calculation of foreign-derived intangible income for the Section 250 “FDII” deduction and completion of Form 8993. Involved in aligning with substantiation requirements for the Section 250 deduction. Calculate foreign tax credit amount and annual foreign tax credit limitation; collect tax receipts to support foreign tax credit claims. Determine disclosure requirements for various taxable and tax free transactions and prepare the necessary statements and disclosures for the US tax return. Responsible for preparation and filing of Canadian income tax returns and quarterly estimates.Assist with the recomputation of earnings and profits and tax pools based on competent authority settlements and foreign audit settlements.

Job Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of international income tax experience in public accounting or at a multinational corporation
Licensed CPA is preferred
A rudimentary working knowledge of tax laws in various countries is useful
Strong working knowledge of U.S. tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
