We’re seeking an exceptional metadata expert, experienced in Technical Program Management, to develop and execute emerging programs and support data generation and quality. The Metadata Innovation team partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering and Data Science in addition to stakeholders across the business to organize and evolve our metadata and associated mechanisms for increasing member value. In this role, you have the opportunity to shape our program strategy for Metadata Innovation, partnering with functional and regional teams around the world. The ideal candidate has worked with a variety of metadata applications, from Digital Asset Management (DAM), to Content Management Systems (CMS), Data Management Platforms (DMP) and ad servers, is adept in communicating complex priorities effectively across varied stakeholder groups, advocating and supporting metadata governance initiatives, and is consistent in their application of program management methodology to solving problems. Within the Product Metadata and Ratings team, you will partner closely with Content Understanding and Ratings Policy, to innovate on metadata frameworks, metrics and mechanisms that protect and improve our ability to launch and promote content effectively with our members, while working with Project Managers to discover, plan and execute on the highest impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute program strategy for your portfolio(s) in partnership with Product Metadata and Ratings leadership and key partners.
Effectively manage a cross-functional, global stakeholder set with a solution-first resolution approach while driving clarity in problems to be solved across technical and nontechnical audiences while establishing relative priorities.
Overview resourcing impacts for your programs and partner with PMR leadership for internal resourcing needs, as well as Operations teams for vendor success.
Adeptly manage risks across the Metadata Innovation portfolio and consider higher order tradeoffs; partner in contingency plans.
Progress reporting and tracking for key milestones, goals, OKRs, and learnings.
Advocate and develop data quality solutions with PMR and cross functional partners.
Partner with Architecture and Taxonomy & Governance teams by advocating and developing data quality solutions.
Model best-in-class program management.

Qualifications:

5+ years in technical program management.
5+ years working with metadata or data disciplines, systems, programs, and projects.
Strengths building cross-functional relationships, developing insights, managing programs and projects while articulating progress and success.
Proven track record effectively managing complex programs across broad stakeholder sets with aligned goals, met objectives, budgets, and timelines with stellar quality.
Delivered highly effective solutions for metadata and/or data management by incorporating tooling, User Experience Testing (UAT), and vendor resourcing.
Deep understanding of metadata systems, with an eye for continuous improvement.
A data-driven approach to problem-solving and analysis; managing accountability for deliverables.
Experience with algorithm-assisted and vendor-supported workflows.
Propensity towards optimization and quality assurance with a focus on defined objectives.
Driven partnerships for tooling and workflow implementation, including issue resolution and end-to-end analysis.
Identified and resolved advanced technical issues across internal/external toolsets, adeptly troubleshooting with key partners.
Demonstrated ability to operate as a self-starter, navigate effectively in ambiguity, and willingness to pivot as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and extraordinary attention to detail
Strong judgment in executing deliverables and workflow design that prioritizes member satisfaction.
Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in the Google Suite, AirTable, or other database/reporting/ tracking tools.
