We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive the core directory and directory access API space for new investments. This role will focus on driving future capabilities in the area that allow partners and customers to do more by simplifying the work they do to use the infrastructure to build their own apps. In this role you’ll be leading the charge via architectural proposals, new design and customer needs to provide next level of services. Principal Product Manager

This includes working closely with Azure Active Directory team and various teams across Office 365 that depend on the Core directory platform This is both for First party and Third party partners. You will also help and coordinate the relationship between these teams (both stakeholders and dependant teams) and make sure we provide high SLA and high scale systems that meet all our customer needs. Responsibilities

Provide strategy, vision, product or technical white papers that must be presented to very senior stakeholders and executives

Lead efforts to modernize the Directory infrastructure and runtime API platforms that drive better experiences and SLAs for our partners and customers

Solve and simplify complex problems in scale, availability, performance, security and costs, as the platform serves many apps at massive scale with tight SLA requirements. Principal Product Manager

Understand and suggest potential new revenue streams as well as optimizations that could help run services more efficiently.

Work with partner teams to understand needs and translate them to well defined and prioritized scenarios & requirements and plans to resolve any issues. Help build relationships with partners as they build on our platform. Principal Product Manager

Define Objectives and Key results along with metrics (KPIs) and SLAs to measure success of our platform investments. Design monitoring capabilities and telemetry to support the SLA agreements with partners

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.

Product Management IC5 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 – $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 – $282,200 per year.
