Senior Manager IT, Forecasting and Planning Systems

The Senior Manager IT, Forecasting and Planning Systems has global responsibility for leading the IT projects and support for Kontoor’s Forecasting and Planning Systems – Retail, Demand, and Supply and leading Kontoor’s Forecast and Planning IT team. Responsible for partnering with Kontoor business leads in identifying and defining system needs and projects as well as influencing business practices key to the overall success of Kontoor Forecasting and Planning organization. Responsibilities:

Leads and manages forecasting and planning (F&P) projects on a global scale. Takes ownership of the

design, implementation, and delivery of F&P solutions, while also extending influence on partner systems

such as Manufacturing, Sourcing and Logistics, SAP MDM, SAP OTC, and SAP PTP. Senior Manager IT, Forecasting and Planning System

Develops overall IT solutions for F&P projects, from definition and design to execution and support.

Ensures seamless integration of partner systems, adhering to agreed-upon scope, budget, and timeline.

Spearheads the development, implementation, and enhancement of continuous improvement

programs for F&P systems. Drive quality assurance, establish best practices, and maintain standards for

project lifecycle documentation. Identify areas of risk and proactively work towards issue resolution.

Maintains oversight of project progress by tracking deliverables and providing timely updates on project

status. Keep stakeholders informed about milestones achieved and challenges faced.

Coordinates team members as necessary to ensure the successful execution of projects. Fosters

collaboration, synergy, and clear communication among team members to achieve project goals. Senior Manager IT, Forecasting and Planning System

Partners with leadership to identify growth opportunities driven by IT initiatives. Develops comprehensive

plans for executing sustaining, stretch, and breakthrough innovations that align with Kontoor’s strategic

goals and business priorities.

Collaborates closely with System Integrators, Business Leads, and other Kontoor IT teams to ensure

successful project execution. Influence and partner with various stakeholders to achieve aligned

outcomes.

Management responsibilities for a team of professionals including management of people, defining jobs and responsibilities, planning for the department’s future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions/changes. Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, computer science, or other relevant discipline required.
  • 10+ years IT supply chain experience with 5+ years in Apparel industry
  • 7+ years hands on working experince on leading planning solutions ( e.g Logility )
  • 7+ Years Experience in Leading Forecasting Planning project teams
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems – sourcing, manufacturing, procure to pay, order to cash, and master data concepts ( e.g SAP )
