A Controller is needed on a direct hire REMOTE basis for a leading, private corporation in the engineering services space. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of the organization.

This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in accounting and financial management, who can effectively lead and mentor a team while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and support to team members.
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff, and senior accountant.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
Ensure adherence to accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal policies.

Qualifications:
