The Mobility Core and Network Services (MCANS) team is part of the Network CTO organization that oversees the global direction of AT&T’s mobile and wireline technologies, including the design of AT&T’s 5G infrastructure and services.

This team is responsible for the architecture, design, certification and delivery of advanced mobility core network capabilities and network service applications (such as IP multimedia systems and packet data) that represent the future of mobility services and experiences. This team contributes to the growth and development of end-to-end wireless network services for consumer, enterprise, Internet of Things (IOT), FirstNet and public sector products.

This entry-level position is part of a team that collaborates with customer project teams to develop mobility business services across our network. This is a combination of physical and cloud platforms, CI/CD workflow automation, big data and Azure DevOps (ADO). This is a very dynamic and exciting role that will provide insight into new mobility, virtualization and cloud technologies. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and want to expand their skills as part of a diverse, talented and dynamic group of professionals in cloud computing, data analytics, software development, migration and technology delivery. Fundamental knowledge of network architecture, IP transport and connectivity, and wireless communication protocols such as SIP and Diameter

Experienced with network analytics and telecom-specific data sources, familiar with reporting tools and dashboards such as PowerBI, Jira.

Knowledge of security and privacy concepts of zero-trust architecture

Familiar with system and database administration capabilities, experience with RHEL and/or Oracle as examples, and able to own and operate such platforms

Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (not required, but a plus):

Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and concepts.

Fundamental knowledge of mathematics related to AI/ML.

Familiarity
with data pre-processing and model evaluation techniques.

Our Senior Technical Specialist annual salary ranges from $108,900 to $183,000. Starting salaries for individuals within this range may vary based on location, experience, expertise, and education/training. Joining our team gives you great benefits and perks, including:
