Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong time management skills enabling on-time project delivery
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Evaluating, selecting, and ordering equipment for company products
Overseeing installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Keeping current on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices and upgrades
Studying equipment performance and reliability
Establishing programs for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems
Providing technical support for equipment repair and process engineering
Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer or similar role
Preferred experience with AMAT (Prime and Opta) and/or Ebara CMP
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques
Experience with tool monitoring and equipment maintenance

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
